Sudying on screen in Afghanistan now:Girls will go to school wearing a burqa, there will be a curtain in the class so that boys and girls do not see each other

Amidst the turmoil that has been going on for almost a month in Afghanistan, studies in colleges and universities have started. The Taliban have allowed girls to study, but they also have to go through strict restrictions.

On Monday, a photo of Ibn-e-Sina University located in Mazar-e-Sharif has surfaced. In this, the class is divided into 2 parts through the screen. Boys are sitting on one side and girls on the other.

Girls have to obey these orders

  1. Every girl going to college-university will have to wear a mask
  2. Girls studying in private university will have to wear burqa
  3. Every girl has to keep her face covered most of the time.

Women started wearing burqa
Before the Taliban rule in Afghanistan, few women were seen wearing burqa and niqab on the streets. Now, after the capture of the Taliban, almost all women are wearing it. The Taliban have asked women to wear masks that cover most of the face.

Girls will be taught only by female teachers
Taliban had given some orders regarding the education of girls only after the capture of Kabul on 15 August. According to the order, boys and girls cannot study in the same class. It was said in the order that the college-university will have to keep separate classes for boys and girls. Only female teachers can teach girls. Therefore, women teachers have to be recruited. In the absence of this, the elderly male teacher can teach the girls, but before that his record will have to be checked thoroughly.

In the university-college
the class of girls, not women teachers , will end 5 minutes before the boys, so that it can be confirmed that all the girls have left the college before the boys leave the class. Boys and girls will not be allowed to talk to each other in college. Speaking to AFP, a professor from Afghanistan said that most of the universities have very few female teachers.
