Important meeting of neighboring countries on the situation in Afghanistan, PAK said – situation will be normal soon

Neighboring countries held an important meeting on the situation in Afghanistan. The meeting was chaired by Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Shah Ahmed Qureshi. Apart from Pakistan, foreign ministers of 6 countries including Uzbekistan participated in this meeting.

The new government was formed on Tuesday after the Taliban took complete control of Afghanistan. Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund was appointed as the head of this government. Meanwhile, information came to light that the neighboring countries held an important meeting on the situation in Afghanistan. The meeting was chaired by Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Shah Ahmed Qureshi.

6 countries meeting

Apart from Pakistan, foreign ministers of 6 countries including Uzbekistan, Iran, Tajikistan participated in this meeting. Let us inform that Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Shah Ahmed Qureshi talked about ending terrorism from Afghanistan.

Qureshi said the situation in Afghanistan remains complex and fluid. We are hopeful that the political situation will return to normal soon. We have to give up the old lenses for the new reality. There is a need to develop new insights and proceed from a realistic or a practical point of view.

He said that the welfare of the Afghan people should be at the center of our efforts. Because these people are suffering heavy losses due to conflict for more than 40 years.
